Maria Paula welcomes you to Bed and Breakfast at ‘Casanuova’ situated in the glorious Chianti region.
Casanuova is 5 km (3 miles) from Siena, 50km (30 miles) from Florence, 25 km (15 miles) from San Gimignano and just a short 30 minute drive from the ‘Crete Sienes’ Montalcino region famous for Brunello wine. Casanuova is thought to have been an original staging post for pilgrims that travelled on the Via Francigena.
You can relax in the garden with views of the surrounding woods, olive groves, vineyards, and rows of cypresses, with the imposing il castello della Chiocciole in the distance.
Olive oil and wine can be purchased from many local vineyards.
Breakfast is based on local products including, honey, conserves, salami, and cheeses.
